The LitterMaid LME 9000 auto litter box measures 28 by 20 by 8,5 inches is suitable for big cats or family with more than one cat. The unit automatically cleans itself, moving smelly waste into sealed disposable container. If the waste container is full, just replace it with an empty fresh one. 10 minutes after the cat do it’s business an infrared sensor will be activated and a rake sweep the clump, move it into sealable container under the litter box and return to its original position when finished.
A carbon filter used by an ionic air cleaner absorb odor to cut it down by 50%, therefore you also need to replace the carbon filter once in a while. If any cat enter the automated litter box before the initial 10 minutes have elapsed, the timer will reset automatically and will start cleaning cycle procedure from the begining again 10 minutes after cat leaves the box.
Another plus is this LiterMaid self-cleaning kitty auto litter box unit equipped with a sleep timer which shuts off the machine while you’re sleeping at night, this machine also featured with a detachable steel rake for easy litter tray cleaning. Other include an on-off switch and indicator light. 
The package include 4 carbon filters and 4 disposable waste receptables to create odorless surroundings. The quite motor uses a low voltage AC adapter or 8 standard AA batteries (not included).
While some consumers are satisfied and have no significant problem, unfortunately, many consumers report various issues regarding this cat auto litter box product such as frequent jamming, a considerable amount of litter ends up outside the box, malfuntion sensor etc.
